May 2009 marks the first anniversary of Novel Novice Twilight — and we’re celebrating in a big way!
In May 2008, Site founder & lit teacher Tiffany Truitt started Novel Novice Twilight as a blog, to keep track of her 8th grade students’ work on the Twilight novel. She found that Twilight was the perfect way to get students labeled as “difficult to teach” to get excited about reading. And from the founding of her little site, it has quickly blossomed into something so much bigger!
So to celebrate our first anniversary, and to say “thank you” to all of you who’ve supported us over the last year, we have an entire month’s worth of celebrations planned! We’ll be bringing you new goodies throughout the entire month of May (so be sure to check back regularly!), such as contests, fan features, new videos, new graphics & more!
