The Twilight Saga: New Moon has officially set a new record for a midnight opening:
According to Summit Entertainment, the movie raked in $26.3 million at midnight screenings last night.
That easily tops the $22.2 million earned by “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” this summer and the $18.5 million earned by “The Dark Knight.”
Variety reports that the re-issue of “Twilight” on screens Thursday also earned another $1.3 million.
WOO-HOO!!!!
