Here at NNT we have a lot of exciting projects going on and coming up, and I am thrilled to announce our latest contest! Since May, we have had Twilight fans vote on our NNT Twilight soundtrack. Now we are ready to explain exactly why we asked you to do this. Frequent visitors to NNT know we like to encourage reading of all sorts of literature, as well as introduce the Twilight series to reluctant readers. Soon we will be constructing informational pages on all four of the Twilight series novels. These pages will provide the following information: plot summaries, character biographies, quotes, praise from fans concerning the work, and criticism and concerns from non-fans (this way students, teachers, and parents can look over the page and decide if this is the novel or series for them). To help us summarize each novel, we are asking for help from the fans. The first step in our creation of our in-depth look at each novel is to ask for fans to create book trailers for each novel. As a result of this need, we saw the perfect opptrunity for a new NNT contest!

Purpose: Fans will create a music video / trailer for one of the four novels: Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, or Breaking Dawn. The purpose of the videos is to summarize the story of each novel. It may be a Twilight music video or trailer.

Rules:

1) Trailers for each book must use the theme song picked by the NNT visitors.

Trailers for the Twilight novel must use Flyleaf’s All Around Me

Trailers for the novel New Moon must use Seether’s (feat Amy Lee) Broken

Trailers for the novel Eclipse must use Secondhand Serenade’s Fall For You

Trailers for the novel Breaking Dawn must use Muse’s Invincible 

2) All trailers should be uploaded to Youtube and the URL sent to novelnovicetwilight@gmail.com All quality trailers sent in will be showcased on the site. Entries may be mailed in starting tonight until December 20th. Finalists will be chosen at that time and fans of the site will be allowed to vote on the winners.

Prizes: All 1st place winners will receive the pleasure of officially having their video represent the respected novel on our informational pages and will win a copy of the official Twilight Soundtrack.

Below is modest sample of a book trailer I created for the Twilight novel using Foo Fighter’s Come Alive (not the official NNT Twilight theme song, but wanted to  give you a glimpse of what we are looking for).
